Special Interest Groups
The North London Enterprise Club currently runs two special interest groups, to help members in various trades or professions, one for business women and the other for ethnic entrepreneurs.
Sometimes meetings take the form of a formal presentation by experts in their field, sometimes they are more informal, perhaps a structured discussion amongst members on a subject of their choosing. This may centre on a problem a member of the group has encountered.

BAME Enterprise AllianceIt’s a well-known fact that that the majority of business is gained by word-of- mouth recommendation. If you would like to meet new people and network within the local community this special interest group caters for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic entrepreneurs. It promotes peer group support, inter-trading opportunities and advice. Guest speakers from London based businesses speak upon a range of topics from breaking-even to branding. Currently lively events are held in local venues on alternate months - refreshments are available. |

Women’s Business Networking Club‘It’s not what you know it’s who you know’ Building a business needs resources and support - you can’t run a business in isolation. This group is a chance to build personal profiles and network with other women in North London. Whether you are just in the early stages of your enterprise or own an established business, success is often down to having quick access to local services, products and specialist advice. The meetings enhance members’ business potential though knowledge share, debate and listening to expert speakers. Events are held at various venues including Enfield Business Centre - light refreshments are available. |
